1. Quick Access to Bookmarks using Keywords

   As a developer I constantly find myself referring to documentation over and over. I recently discovered that you can alias bookmarks in Firefox using the keywords field.

   For example, if I type "rtm" in the address bar and hit enter, Firefox will expand it to http://www.rememberthemilk.com/

   This can be useful for the following:

   • bookmarklets ( e.g. jQuerify )
   • searches ( e.g. WordPress Codex, del.icio.us )
   • sites you visit religiously ( e.g. Remember the Milk )

2. LuckyLinks WordPress Plugin Released

   Uses Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" feature to hyperlink words in WordPress.

   It works by adding a button to the rich text editor in WordPress.
   The user can then highlight the text they wish to link, press the golden link button, and the rest is magic.

   Examples:

   • Firebug becomes Firebug
   • CakePHP becomes CakePHP

3. Fun with HP Printers

   I got into the office this morning and found a nice link to change the default display of HP Printers.

   Hackzine posted the details here.

   So I went ahead and changed Blast's printer display message to "INSERT COIN".
